I won first place in the Chain Link 2000 Accessory Exhibit! Was I ever surprised when I went up to see the exhibits and there was a big blue ribbon next to my necklace. The necklace is made of bead crochet rope which I call Sedona Lace. The fish is a Karen Stavert (Hot Glass Beads) designer glass bead. She also did the wirework around the fish. I beaded the fish and attached it to the necklace. I also strung freshwater pearls in among the crocheted lace and worked beaded lace next to where the fish is attached to the necklace. Karen deserves part of this ribbon, her fish really makes the whole necklace come together.
